Partners

IS have partnered with a number of International organisations in order to expand our Network capabilities and provide a higher level of service to our valued customers. Some of these partners include:

Global Crossing

In 2005, IS established a bilateral agreement with Global crossing to allow extended reach on MPLS for Global crossing into the African geographic region, as well as provide IS the ability to utilize Global Crossing’s expansive Global network for extended reach on MPLS Based IPVPN services. We have builwww.globalcrossing.comt 3 Interconnects being New York, London and Hong Kong, providing our customer base with inherent resilience and maximum flexibility on their MPLS VPN network.

Cable and Wireless

4 years ago IS and CW interconnected our Frame Relay /ATM Switched networks in London to facilitate extended reach to IS customers requiring Frame Relay connectivity to global destinations. Since then IS has made use if the CW UK Telecommunications network to deliver clear channel circuits between UK sites and IS Nodes in the UK. Recently we established a further interconnect, this time on MPLS, whereby we have the ability to use each other’s MPLS IPVPN networks on a bilateral basis and provide extended reach for our respective customers into each other’s global regions where we have a presence and strength in delivery.

SBC and AT&T

In 2003 IS established I-NGI (Interconnects) in both London and Hong Kong with AT&T allowing us to provide customers with extended reach using the AT&T IPeFR Network (IP enabled Frame). This network runs across the Global AT&T MPLS Core network which spans 220 countries around the world, allowing us to seamlessly extend customer VRFs on a Global basis. Further to these MPLS Interconnects, IS uses the AT&T DSTP service within the USA to provide clear www.att.sbc.comchannel tail circuits over
